Dr. Titikorn Chunchai, under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Dr. Siriporn Chattipakorn, Deputy Director and Head of the Neurophysiology Unit, Cardiac Electrophysiology Research and Training Center (CERT), received the “Oral Presentation Award” at the 3^rd Thailand Summit 2026, held under the theme “Fostering Thailand Future; Advancing Innovation and National Impact”.

The conference was organized by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) in collaboration with the Office of the Permanent Secretary (OPS), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), and partners in the national science, research and innovation system.

The event was held from 23-25 September 2026 at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), Pattaya, Chonburi Province, Thailand.

Chiang Mai University would like to extend its sincere congratulations and express its pride to Distinguished Professor Dr. Nipon Chattipakorn, a distinguished professor and distinguished researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, on being selected to receive the “The Distinguished Research Professor Grant 2026” from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

The Distinguished Research Professor Grant is awarded to professors with outstanding and widely recognized research achievements at both the national and international levels. Recipients play an important role in advancing new knowledge, developing high-quality research, and promoting the application of research findings for the benefit of society, the economy, and the quality of life of the public.

Distinguished Professor Dr. Siriporn Chattipakorn, the deputy director for academic and research affairs at the Cardiac Electrophysiology Research and Training Center (CERT CENTER), received the “Faculty Member with the Highest Number of Consecutive Quartile Rake 1 Publications” award from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University.

The award was presented on Thursday, 30 April 2026, at the Sutthasinobol Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Building 1.

Dr. Chayodom Maneechote received the 2025 “Outstanding Alumni Award in Academic Excellence and Innovation” from Mae Fah Luang University.

The award was presented at the Outstanding Alumni Recognition Ceremony 2025, held on 10 March 2026 at Pradu Daeng 1 Room, E4 Building, Mae Fah Luang University.

The ceremony was organized by the School of Integrative Medicine, Mae Fah Luang University.

Associate Professor Dr. Nattayaporn Apaijai received the 2025 “Golden Elephant Award” from Chiang Mai University in the category of “Outstanding Young Researcher in Health Sciences.”

The award was presented as part of the Chiang Mai University Foundation Day Ceremony, held on 24 January 2026 at Pinmala Art Gallery (Chiang Mai University Historical Hall).

Dr. Poomrapee Srivichit received the 2026 “Early-Career Research Grant ” from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

Dr. Thawatchai Kwanjing received the 2026 “Early-Career Research Grant” from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

Dr. Patcharapong Pantiya received the 2026 “The Best National Dissertation Award” from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
His principal advisor, Distinguished Professor Dr. Siriporn Chattipakorn, Head of the Neurophysiology Unit, Cardiac Electrophysiology Research and Training Center (CERT Center), received the “Certificate of Honor for Principal Advisor” in recognition of her role as the principal advisor for the award-winning thesis.

The awards were presented on 8 January 2026 at the 2026 National Research Expo, “Thailand Inventors’ Day 2026,” held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bang Na, Bangkok, Thailand.
