Prof. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D.,
President of Chiang Mai University,
spoke about the research and innovation collaboration
“From Lab To Life: Innovations for Enhancing the Quality
of Life of Women Aged 45+.”
The initiative is led by a research team from the Clinical Research Center for Food and Herbal Product Development (CR-FAH), Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University,
in partnership with Winona International Co., Ltd., to develop innovative products
from soy extract, translating laboratory research into practical applications.
The goal is to sustainably enhance the quality of life and well-being of women aged 45+.
The event was held on 1 September 2025 at the Science and Technology Park (STeP), Chiang Mai University.
The “Green Innovation from Monk Fruit:
The Future of Natural Sweeteners for Better Health"
by Clinical Research Center for Food and Herbal Product Trials and Development (CR-FAH) Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, received the Silver Medal at The 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, the NRCT Special Award Competition from National Research Council of Thailand, and a Special Award from Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association, Indonesia.
The event was held on March 11–15, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland
The research team from CR-FAH participated in HealthNEXT2025:
‘The Next Pulse of Innovation’, a key platform driving health
innovation toward the future.
During the event, the CR-FAH showcased its research projects alongside both domestic and international partners,
connecting healthcare professionals, health system agencies, researchers, startups, the private sector, and collaborators,
with over 700 participants in attendance. In addition, the CR-FAH research team served as moderators for the panel discussion titled “From Herb to Heal: Clinical Innovation for Food, Phyto-drug, and Wellness Impact”, featuring distinguished speakers Associate Professor Dr. Panwipa Krisdaphong (CEO, Specialty Natural Products Public Company Limited)
and Professor Dr. Nathdanai Harnkarnsujarit (Director, High-Value Food Program, Thailand’s Competitiveness Enhancement
Fund Management Unit – TCEF), who shared their knowledge and experiences.
The event was held on September 7, 2025, at the Nimman Convention Centre.
