Clinical Research Center for Food and Herbal Product Trials and Development (CR-FAH)

CR-FAH provides a one-stop service that integrates testing and research of food and herbal products with intellectual property and requests for product registration with the Food and Drug Administration. It is an integration to meet the needs of food and herbal product development under innovative management to generate both commercial and public value in line with the faculty's strategy, all in one place.

The CR-FAH research team welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patcharaporn Soodchada, Project Leader and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Naresuan University research team.

The CR-FAH research team welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patcharaporn Soodchada, Project Leader and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Naresuan University research team to discuss the development of international clinical research guidelines for herbal medicinal formulas, on February 28, 2024, at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University.

The CR-FAH research team welcomed the research team from the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), a public organization.

The CR-FAH research team welcomed and discussed the ways to develop the biotechnology industry related to herbal extract products with the research team from the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), a public organization, on December 22, 2023, at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University.

Associate Professor Mingkwan Na Takuathung, Ph.D., a representative of the Clinical Research Center for Food and Herbal Product Trials and Development (CR-FAH), participated in the "Seoul International Invention Fair 2023" (SIIF 2023) organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA).

She also received the Bronze Prize for the work titled “Topical Genistein Nutraceutical Product” during the event held from November 1-3, 2023, at the Coex Convention & Exhibition Center, Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Associate Professor Nut Koonrungsesomboon, M.D., Ph.D., a representative of the Clinical Research Center for Food and Herbal Product Trials and Development (CR-FAH), took part in the welcome reception for Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

During her visit on October 24, 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn toured an exhibition showcasing the activities of the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. She was accompanied by the international award committee of the "Prince Mahidol Award Foundation".
